I often find myself protesting against good films on the simple question of their Oscar potential, and it really makes me feel bad for these filmmakers. They do such a great job, and all they get from us is criticism that they weren't able to do better. Every film has its flaws, and we just need to learn to get past that a little more easily, and to perhaps embrace that. This new trailer for Made in Dagenham definitely pushes me towards seeing it, although the more inspirational tone towards the end seems to betray the tone we all expect the film to have.
