I'm not about to suggest that there's any 
chance at hope for Mars Needs Moms. This is quite honestly the most formulaic and pointlessly stupid film to be brought to "life" by motion capture. This is coming from somebody who has no appreciation for this particular form of animation, because it just doesn't work. It doesn't look interesting or real in the slightest, and it's just a pointless and overly expensive replacement for real actors. I completely and irrevocably fail to care about this film, and cannot put any effort into trying to instill hope in this feature, because there is none.
