Well, if there was any footage to come out of Comic Con that really changed perception on the quality of a film, it was for Megamind. They didn't need another trailer, but they made one anyway, and it pretty much destroys any of the faith I gained from the Comic Con footage. One of the most striking things about the footage out of Comic Con was the darker elements of the film, most specifically, the superhero actually dying. This trailer reveals early on that Metroman is not dead, much to my disappointment. So, despite my positive hopes for the film, I'm definitely not going to check this one out. Looks just as plain and boring as before.
