'Spyglass' to Run 'MGM'?

Remember how I felt so sure that the next James Bond film as well as the two Hobbit films would never come. It luckily turns out that I may be wrong, as Spyglass Entertainment is supposedly close to a deal to run the studio in charge of those projects, MGM. Ofcourse, the deal could fall apart at the last second, once again leaving MGM in ruin, but there's a very likely chance that it won't. This would mean that all of the projects that the studio has had on hold can finally go into production. It also means that their completed films, including Cabin in the Woods and the remake of Red Dawn, could be making their way to the big screen sooner than anticipated.
