As if you were expecting something else? There isn't really a movie right now that even compares to the hype surrounding Inception, and as we get to the fever pitch of anticipation, and the climax of this summer movie season, the news concerning the film is piling up more and more. First off, the must see video of today is Hans Zimmer's performance of the Inception soundtrack that went on live last night. You can still see the event at this link. The concert portion doesn't begin until it says 53:19 on the time clock, but we do get some red and black carpet interviews with the makers of the film, so check it out now.
The reviews for the film have been flooding in, and at this point, it's almost as if people are using Harvey Dent's coin flip to decide if they love it completely or condemn it to death. There really are a ton of reviews praising it as the best film of year, but there are a few stray souls out there who find the film utterly confunding and truly hate it. Go to the Rotten Tomatoes page for the film to get the entirety of the reviews in one place. Keep watch while the page piles up.
If all of this anticipation is starting to take its toll on you, and you want to actually get a piece of the film to chew on, a prequel comic book named The Cobol Job has just been released online, and sets the stage for the upcoming blockbuster. I don't really enjoy comic books so much, as they feel irrelevent in a world of television and movies, but I felt compelled to read this one, and it was pretty damn enjoyable. If represented onscreen, it would be one hell of the visual feast. Click here to take a look.
