Remember less than a year ago when word broke out that Zombieland 2 would be in 3D, and was close to production, and then things quieted down for a while? Only the people who were truly obsessed with the idea noticed that nothing was being done. Well, it seems that we may be close to the point where production can get underway on the second installment. Right now, director Ruben Fleischer is hard at work on a comedy called 30 minutes or less, so that obviously puts production off for more than a few months. However, we have word that an early draft of the script for the zombie sequel has been finished, and with luck, we'll have a full script finished by the time Fleischer's current film is finished. It's still a long way to go for something so small and precious, but hopefully our faith will be rewarded.
