It's been online for a few days, but I just got to taking a look at the teaser trailer for the Guillermo Del Toro produced horror film, Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. This trailer is most definitely creepy, but from watching it at home, I know that it's meant to be seen in the movie theatre. You can tell from the first fifty seconds of the trailer that they're trying to make the audience feel unsettled using as little as possible, and it works. This doesn't seem to be the unexpected-shock fueled horror film as much as a deep feeling of dread horror film in the same vein as Drag Me to Hell. Check it out below, and comment on your thoughts in the comment section.
