Goldenberg Writing "Green Lantern 2"

Leave to Warner Bros. to take enthusiasm to unnescessary levels. It really feels like that studio loves every film it puts out, and has the utmost confidence in all its projects, even if they aren't good. So it isn't all that surprising that the studio has signed on Michael Goldenberg to pen the script for the sequel to next summer's Green Lantern. Goldenberg who wrote the script for the first film, also wrote the script for the worst film in the Harry Potter series, Order of the Phoenix, so I do have a fair bit of skepticism on the quality of either of the upcoming features. However, from what I hear coming out of Comic Con, the film is supposed to look pretty interesting. Once again, we must wait to find out.
