If the first trailer managed to make me feel mixed about the potential of Hesher, this one just eliminates all that uncertainty. One of the things that felt so off about that first trailer was how typical it felt, like it was holding itself back from being a gritty indie flick. This one just rocked my socks off, because all the insanity wasn't held back, but it wasn't over the top. A nice touch is the end credit card being placed before the title card. I really don't care if critics take this film to pieces. I'll see it either way.
