I've been so distracted this weekend that I almost forgot that there was a new AMC original series premiering tonight. I don't exactly have high expectations for The Killing, because we can't expect everything to have the same success as Mad Men or Breaking Bad. On the other hand, we haven't seen anything that really leads us to believe that it will be awful. I guess we'll reach a verdict somewhere around the midseason mark, but until then we'll be discovering this series as it moves forward.
